I gave birth last October of 2018, a healthy baby boy via CS. I just want to share my experience as a first time mom.
PREGNANCY.
I learned that I am pregnant at 12 weeks, there are signs suggesting I am pregnant but, I did not bother on thinking that I really am. The food tastes weird, I want to eat often, I suddenly hate the smell of garlic. And also my period is irregular so I am used to it. So, my now husband suggested we take a pregnancy test to see if we are pregnant and it says positive twice. The next day we went to an OB to make sure (we are still making sure) and to also have a vitamins needed to have a healthy baby.
Then, we told our parents and they are excited for us. I once told my mom in the past that I am afraid of giving birth, I am scared of the pain and I happen to watch giving birth thru normal and CS. The labor some went thru, all of it scares me.
BIRTH.
I did not experience a painful labor but, I waited for almost 1 day to have my CS because my OB wants to give me a chance of giving birth via Normal but, it did not happen even though they gave me a medicine to induce labor. Ending decided to CS because if we wait longer me and my baby may be put in danger.
AFTER BIRTH.
So, I mentioned that I am afraid of being pregnant right? Turns out the painful one is the after care. But, I give my all for my baby and regain my strength as soon as possible. The next day I already sit up and when the headache is not that much I already stand up. I really did not mind the pain at all, I just thought of I want to take care of my baby.
OVERALL.
For me the easiest is being pregnant. The hardest is thinking of always keeping your baby safe. You do not want even an insect to harm your baby. I do not mind the sleepless nights. I enjoy taking care of him. And will enjoy this long journey ahead.
I wanna know your experience too.
