IT'S MY SUN CREAM 45SPF (First Impression + Review)

Sunblock is one of the most important skin regimen every morning. For me, even if you are indoors you should never forget to wear something with SPF.

My impression/review: It is creamy, non-sticky and fine to put on my sensitive face. Unlike some sunblock that I used, whenever I perspire it sort of melts and sticky like and some shows a yellowish color whenever I wipe it out.

If you are looking for a good sunblock that is non-sticky, this one's a good grab. I also used this when I went for a swim and it does not come off that easily. Thumbs up for this.

Rate: 5/5

Do you also believe in using sunblock indoors even though you are not going out?

Banila Co. PRIME Primer - Classic (First Impression + Review)

Banila Co. PRIME Primer - Classic

I wanted to try out this product since, I read that it is a good primer even for sensitive skin.

I got the classic one because, I wanna try if it will be okey for any skin types. Surely, I really wanted to try out the Matte one. Oh, well, good thing it turns out good.

I really have an oily skin, even though I used any products that says matte or whatsoever.

30ML

Formula wise, it is smooth on the face and good as makeup base. I noticed that it lessen the oiliness of my face, for me that is a good factor.

For the packaging, I liked the lock of the bottle and also a pump type. It is easy to use the pump type ones and for me it helps on preventing contamination (just my point of view).

Overall, this primer is a 4/5 star for me.

Will surely try the matte one after this.

Do you also use a primer? What primer is your must have?

Maxi Peel - Day50

My Day 50 of MaxiPeel

Finally! This is the 50th day of my usage of MaxiPeel Exfoliant#2. I have high expectations since I watch some of their so called "Serye/s" where you can follow a certain person's journey of using their products. So I got curious since I also want a flawless face, in-spite of my skin having a lot of trouble in a lot of products.

Here is the update picture of my Day50
The part of my face with the severe one is my left cheeks. They don't want to get lost!!! I am already losing hope, because I am already nearing the Day60 of using the Exfoliant, then I am going to do the rest period of 1 month.

I am having second thoughts if I will still continue this, but since I started this I will try to continue of using their products. My pimples right now are really red on my left cheeks and the worst part is they are best buddies (they stick all together).

Still giving this product a chance.

Maxi Peel - Day40

My Maxi-Peel Day40 of using the Exfoliant #2

So today marks my 40th day of using Maxi-Peel products. My pimples are still there and still I don't experience a lot of peeling which is a good thing to me.

You may check my previous post from this Maxi-Peel journey here:
My Journey

Here is an update picture for my Day 40 of usage
My pimples are still on a breakout mode which is really kinda frustrating but, I still believe that it is part of the cleaning process of their product which, they stated that could happen.
My left cheek has more pimples and they are dry now (I just can't tell if it shows i the picture) because on my 30th day they are newly pop from my cheeks.

I really do hope that this will help lessen the pimples as I am already reaching my 60th day and after that I will be doing already the Rest Day Period. I want to reach the rest day period with less pimples.

Benefit Ready Set Brow - Dupe

BENEFIT READY SET BROW VS. DAISO EYEBROW COAT

Okey, I just said it is a dupe because it does the same job and with more affordable price.

It just says eye brow coat, and I bought it at Daiso (Market!Market) for only Php88.00

The Benefit Ready Set Brow is 1,400.00 - full size.

Here is the picture of the eyebrow coat and the Benefit Ready Set Brow

Both products helps in keeping the eyebrow makeup on spot. It is budge-proof even you perspire.

This is way more affordable but, if you are into high-end products you may do so or choose your own brand but, this is just a affordable one for those who are on a budget.

The only difference is the applicator but, on the formula wise they just do the same. The Benefit has a brush like (mascara wands) and the Daiso one looks like a nail polish (^_^).

The Benefit really helps you in taming the brows because of its dual-custom sided wand that combs the unruly brow. But, for the Daiso one you can also do that but, you just need to use a separate brush to do so.

Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip (Teeny Tiny, Trap, Bad Habit) - Swatch + Review + First Impression

So, I have a courage to order thru an online seller a Coloupop Lipstick. I bought this to MNL Beauty Boutique (IG: mnlbeautyboutique) for the price of Php480/each I read review that she is a legit seller and her products are 100% US Authentic. You can go check her IG and contact her from there, she is nice to transact with. I got my lippies within 2 days from payment.

Here is the swatch/es

This are just my thoughts on this products and I am not a beauty expert or sooooooo....

Shade: Teeny Tiny
- The shade is a brownish color, for me it looks good for people with a pale/fair skin tone. It looks like a chocolate color on my view.
- The formula is good, it dries instantly as in instantly. So you better be quick in applying.
- It does not transfer
- Long wearing (Just don't eat oily food which is their enemy)

Shade: Trap
- The shade is like a muted pink / pale plum combination. On my lips it looks a super pale pinking / plum type of color.
- The formula is also good, it dries up instantly.
 - It does not transfer
- Long wearing (Again, no to oily food)

Shade: Bad Habit
- The shade is a red with like a pink tone in it.
- The formula on this one is a bit so-so for me. It transfers and I am a type of person who always pucker up my lips (a habit maybe, ooooh and the name for this shade is a Bad Habit) so, I am worried that in doing that, of my so called habit of mine, my lips will transfer on the outer area. (Imagine if you just wipe off your lipstick, the picture that you look like JOKER from Batman) that's what I was imagining all day while I am wearing this shade.

Overall:
I like the Colourpop formula that is does stay all day (just stay away from oily food). For retouch, you don't need any but, if you need one you may and it does not crack or feel dry on the lips. I just tried up to 2x because, I can't ate some oily food that time (^.^)
It does not crack, and it does not feel dry on my lips.

Don't forget to always prep your lips if you are using a liquid lipstick.

Maxi Peel - Day30

YES! Today is my 1 month of using the MaxiPeel regimes, I don't use any other products to fully see the results.

Here is my:
Day10
Day20

Here is my Day 30
As I would say it, my pimples really did breakout. I have a big pimple again on my cheeks. But, the pimples are less visible than before, I think it really calls all the possible pimples to come out (hahaha). I really want my pimples to stop breaking out. It's takes time to cover them up (-.-) and at this kind of weather my faces is really oily (atm).
Still waiting when will my breakout stop. Really wishing my pimples to disappear already.

Nella Fantasia - Aura Highlighter (Swatch + Review + First Impression)

I usually don't use highlighter but, on I wanna try out this out. I bought this at Althea PH Online Shopping. This is in shade White Pearl and the price is Php300.00

Here is the Item & Swatch

I already tried it on my face and I like the glow. But, the only problem I have is I do not know how to use the puff thingy, I think that is suppose to be used as an applicator but, no products comes out from there. So I will just open the lid and get a brush but, sometimes I end up spilling some powder all over and end up having glitters on my clothes.
And also I am having a hard time controlling the amount of the powder. If I will tap the brush it will just all fall and if I don't I end up having a uneven highlight or massive glow on my cheeks.

I will probably will use a highlighter but not this kind, will use the palette ones like the Sleek Solstice. Which I am wanting to have for quiet sometime now.

Update: Okey the cushion now works, it just doesn't work before, because the powder are clump up together preventing it to come through the cushion. Still to much shine on the face, and a lot of fall outs.

Will not purchase this again.
My rating will be: 1/5

Saladbox X Benefit(July 2016)

Yes! Benefit Cosmetics for the month of July 2016. It mostly contains their eyebrow products. I really want to try out any Benefit Cosmetics but, I find it a bit pricey so I stop myself from buying because it will cost me some money if their products don't work for me.

The one that has Buy2Free1 is the Baby Pet Magic Mask Sheet. You get to buy two products with a price of one. The only thing that I was really planning to buy is the Banila Co. Primer with the amount of Php530.00 only, almost half the price of the retail but, I ended up spending more (huhuhu) but, it's okey I do want to try out some other stuffs too.

Their delivery this time only spans from 9days, which is less than what they mention of 10-15 days which, is a good thing because, you do not have to wait almost half a month for your product to arrive. And as always their packaging is great, all items are secured in a bubble wrap and no item has damage or what (and did I mention their box is pink!).

Off-topic, you may re-use their box as an organizer of all sort of things. Like mini notebooks, pens, etc. I used mine to store some of my brushes (hehe).

My Overall Rate for them: 5/5

Maxi Peel - Day 20

Okey, this is my 20th day of using Maxi-Peel Exfoliant #2, as mentioned pimples will start to pop up for some user (and I am one of those).

Link for my Day10

They say that it is part of the process and/or side effect of using the product. It means that the product is doing it's job.

If it will be compared on my Day10, my Day20 has a lot more pimples and some are big ones. My forehead has a lot but it's not that big like on my cheeks. I have now a bit of peeling, like on my upper eyebrow, you can see a bit peeling (but not that much).

I hope this will really fade in the coming days, I do not want my face to have more pimples than before.

NOTE: I stopped using the moisturizer because, I have oily skin and they said that it is okey not use moisturizer if you have oily skin because, it already produces oil on its own.

Saladbox May-June 2016 Box (Delivery Issues)

The Saladbox is the subscription box that I subscribed for 3 months. (Link)

I received an email regarding their Deliery Update & Schedule Adjustment (Link)

In Case the link will not be available i the future, here is a screenshot of their adjusted schedule.

I am writing this today June 27, 2016 because, I haven't receive my May-June 2016 box yet. I am already worried if they forgot to send me one. I message them on their IG, FB & email.

I message them on their:
IG - June 21
FB - June 22
Email - June 23

I got all replies on June 24 the reply from IG & FB states that I should email them so that their Discovery Consultant can track it.

Here is the reply from their Discovery Consultant

I hope that they will really send out the box immediately, since they state to expect in the next few working days.

I just can't figure out why would be my address is unlocated or no one is answering the door. I just got my Althea & Glamourbox delivered at my doorstep. So, why? why? why? and some couriers call or text me first if I will be available to receive my item. I just find this kinda lame excuse.

Yes, I know they are doing their best to keep up their delivery of products, to give us their customers the service they promised but, I know they do have some flaws which you cannot prevent. Just hoping that they can deliver all their boxes already because it is already July in a while and the next box will be up soon. Then it will be another pile up again of their deliveries.

Will update this, if ever I received my box.

Update: July 5, 2016
I e-mailed them asking if I will be receiving 2 boxes since I haven't received my May-June box and the July box is up already. And good thing they replied within the same day. Here is there reply.

UPDATE: July 11, 2016
YES! I finally received my 2 boxes. Will be doing a separate post for the boxes.

Maxi Peel - Day 10

I started using MaxiPeel to try if it will really works for me.

My Morning & Night Regimen (Link)

This is my Day10 of using the products. I only use all the products of MaxiPeel to prevent any damage that may not compliment with their products (or something like that).

I did their patch test because, I have a super sensitive skin and I do not want my face to be totally ruined (hehehe). It states / recommend to have a patch test and see for 48hrs if it will have any allergic reactions.

I don't normally get that lots of pimple on my cheeks except my forehead.
They do state that pimple/s will appear while it is under the cleaning process of using MaxiPeel so, I am not worried that I have a lot of that right now. Regarding the peeling, I am not experiencing it yet (so far). Just the redness and the pimple breakout.

I am hoping for the best in using this product. That it will help in clearing out my pimples and make my skin flawless ( ^_^ ).

Morning & Night Regimen (Maxi Peel)

I follow their recommended regimen, I am using the ff.:

MORNING
1. Facial Wah
2. Sunblock

EVENING
1. Facial Wash
2. Exfoliant Solution #2 (1-2 drops ONLY & wait for 15mins before applying the moisturizer)
3. Moisturizing Cream

All the products mentioned are all Maxi Peel.

Exfoliant Solution:
#1 (MILD) 1-5 pimples on one side of the face
#2 (MODERATE) 6-10 pimples on one side of the face
#3 (SEVERE) 11 or more pimples on one side of the face.

If you want to know more about their products, you may visit their Facebook Page.

NOTE: I use Maxi Peel Concealing Cream (Natural) to cover up my redness if I need to go out.

OFRA x Manny MUA - Aries (First Impression + Swatch & Review)

I finally got my hands on one of the OFRA x Manny MUA liquid lipsticks. I was planning on buying the shade  Charmed but it was out of stock. But, still I like this shade.

Just my thoughts regarding this product:

PACKAGING:
Simple but, kinda classy. The handle of the brush is a black metallic look.

APPLICATOR:
The one that is commonly used on the liquid lipsticks. The sponge like slant one.

SMELL:
For me the smell reminds me of a sweet candy. It reminds me of the Alpenliebe Caramel & Cream Candy (hope someone besides me know this candy).

FORMULA:
It drys immediately when applied, it is pigmented one swipe will do. Some light colored lipsticks needs to re-apply to get the color / some parts of the lips are not fully covered causing it to look uneven. It does not feel sticky on the lips, does not dry my lips but, not kiss proof (just a reminder).

SHADE:
Perfect for a simple, nude color with a hint of coral.

LONG LASTING?
Yes, it is  long lasting as long as you do not eat a burger or any oily food. But, I like the part that it leaves a bit of stain.

RE-APPLICATION:
When re-applying the lipstick, it does not get sticky and does not dry my lips. Some I find it sticky even if I blot it with tissue or something. And the worst it drys up my lips and skin starts to show (who would like to see a lips with a look of ripping skin on it)

OFRA x Manny MUA - Aries
I bought this at Glamourbox for Pp850.00

Swatch on my lips & back of the hand (my skin is in a shade of fair/light)

Did I mention I am a fan of Manny MUA, just letting you know (hehehe, wink).

My rate overall: 4.5/5

Revlon Colorbust & POP Crayon (Swatch & Review)

Today I received a package and I got a freebie which is the POP - Pouty Pop Crayon in shade Coral Crush. (Package Blog)

I was excited to try on this POP crayon because I haven't tried any of their brands yet. And I notice that it's kinda same of the shade of the Revlon Colorburst 120. In the swatch that I will show you will see the difference that the POP crayon is on the orange side which is (yeah! Coral) stated in the shade that it is Coral Crush. But, on the lips you cannot tell the big difference in a glance.

The Lip Products

The Swatche/s (at the back of my hand)

The Swatche/s (on my lips)
NOTE: I did not rub my lips to prevent them from mixing up the colors.

If you are under the light, you will see that the Revlon is more intense which is suppose to be because, it is in the dark pinkish shade compare to POP which is on the coral shade.

Revlon has a peppermint feeling on the lips, it feels like you just ate a menthol.

Overall for me, they are pretty much the same formula. It is not long wearing so better do you lipstick hacks on how to prolong those lipsticks. And did I say that they are glossy.

I will surely be trying out some of the POP cosmetics, soon.

As for Revlon, I just tried their colorburst and the matte lipstick.

GlamourboxPH - First Impression (Online Shop)

Glamourbox is an online shop for cosmetic brands suck as POP, Pixi, BYS, etc. You may visit their website at: Glamourbox

I ordered my items on June 19, 2016(Sunday) and I received them today June 21, 2016(Tuesday). I was not expecting my package to be delivered that fast. I usually get them on the 2nd to 3rd day. And the delivery man from XEND is super nice, I was ashamed that i gave him a wrong direction because he came from the other side which, I am not that used to in pointing direction. I said to go right on the 2nd block but, I forgot we are on the 3rd block.

Okey, back to the package.........

Here is my package
I got two bundle of items that is super secured with bubble wraps. (Thumbs Up)

I ordered:
Ofra Manny MUA Liquid Lipstick : Aries (Php850)
PIXI - Makeup Fixing Mist (Php975)

I opened first the small one which I think is the Ofra, and then it was the Pop crayon. I was about to cry (overreacting, haha!) and then.... OH YEAH, on the other wrap! (Silly me!)

I was so happy that they gave me a freebie, I am just a simple person that really appreciates anything. The card is also a thoughtful thing, not all online shops does that (right?)

Maybelline - Color Sensational Creamy Matte (First Impression + Swatch & Review)

Maybelline Color Sensational Matte in shades Touch of Spice and Divine Wine. These two shades are the best sellers here in the Philippines. These two shades are in trend on social media, so I decided to try them out.

Price: Php299.00

Swatches

Touch of Spice
This shade is good for a go to everyday makeup look. It is a nude pinkish color, for my skin color it looks like it is a natural rosy healthy looking lips. It is really creamy and it is light weight on the lips. This is not a long wearing lipstick.

Divine Wine
This shade would be a good match if you are for achieving for a vampy look. I say this will go for a night party party! But, watch out (if you will be drinking/eating) because this one is dark and this is not a long wearing lipstick so, you need to check your lips from time to time because, it fades in the inner part and it does not look good.

If you have tricks on how to maintain your lipstick and really stick it on your lips all day then that will be NICE.

The scent of the lipstick smells like a powdery scent. It is not over powering if you are not a fan of scented lipsticks. But, if you accidentally lick your lips with the lipstick on, you will definitely taste the powdery scent like thingy.

Touch of Spice

Scent: 4/5
Price: 5/5
Formula: 4/5

Divine Wine:

Scent: 4/5

SaladBox Subscription (April 2016)

I subscribed to SaladBox because I want to try new products with a low cost. For 3 months subscription you pay Php1,800.00 (100 shipping fee & 500 for the box). For the worth 500 pesos you pay for a month you get a box worth Php2,500++ (I know, WOW right?).

They also stated that they do not repeat any products. You may visit their website here: SaladBox

For the month of April 2016, this is their box content
Fresh Start Box c/o VMV Hypoallergenics

Contents
The box content worth a total of Php3,585.00
which is a SUPER DUPER BIG SAVINGS right?

MY THOUGHTS REGARDING THE PRODUCTS:
The superskin-starts-here cleanser that I got is for dry skin. They do send random stuffs, I wish they will also have a special options when you subscribe of what type of skin do you have every time they have a product that has skin types on it. But, just a thought I do not know how they contribute products.

For the cleanser, it felt soft on my skin. I also liked their toner, it really cleanse the face. I just have small issues on the moisturizer since it is for dry skin, my face gets really oily.

For their Armada Sunscreen 70 Deluxe, I SUPER LOVED it. It feels good on the skin, it does not make my face oily and it is light on my face. I have experience with some sunblocks that are heavy on my fave and it makes my face super oily that I look like I went for a jog or something.

Will I purchase it after testing? Yes. Specially their Armada sunscreen
I will try their facial set for the oily skin.

My rate for the facial set will be: 3/5
My rate for the Armada sunscreen will be: 5/5

VMV - Velvet Matte Lipstick x SaladBox (First Impression + Swatch & Review)

I got this VMV Hypoallergenics Velvet Matte Lipstick from my SaladBox Subscription for their month of April 2016.

SaladBox Subscription is a BOMB! For the 3 months subscription you only pay Php500.00 but the contents worth are somewhere Php2,500.00++
Link of their website: SaladBox

Just my thought on the VMV Velvet Matte Lipstick (I'm no expert on this, so don't give so much attention if you do not LIKE this).

I got the shade called Dame

Here the swatch on me: (I have a fair complexion)

My thoughts:
1. I find it powdery texture, I don't know why but, I tried different matte lipsticks like maybelline but it does not have a powdery texture.
2. I like the color, it is like a good shade for a go to. A nude shade with a bit of orange / pinkish color (not good in describing colors).
3. It is not long wearing.
4. I like the packaging of the lipstick and it has an expiration date on it, which is a good thing if you keep the box you will not forget it's expiry (sadly I throw mine).
5. It make my lips flaky (as seen in the picture) I did have a lip balm before that and it still flakes on my lips.
6. The price according to their site is somewhere Php1,000.00+

Will I buy it after testing? No,maybe. I can't say yet. And I do restrain myself from buying lipsticks that are Php600+ / per piece.

My rate will be: 2/5 stars

About Me

I am R.A, turned 25 years old last February 2016. A degree holder of BSIT (Bachelor of Science in Information Technology). I made a blog just for my own usage and expecting that I will be the only one reading this from time to time, just like a personal diary or something to go back in the future.

I am not good in writing stuffs and my english is not that good but, hey nobody's perfect (right?). There are just people who are perfectionist and I want to avoid them. It's just that some of them will correct you in a right way but, mostly they laugh at you, for what reason? (IDK). I stated above that I am a BSIT student so normally I speak english but not as good as the one's who has a degree / major in English Grammar or some sort.

Most people know me as timid and shy, I get anxious talking to other people that I meet for the first time. I have issues on talking to strangers at work that is not a good habit, I tried my best, some of them I was able to conquer little by little. Still I ended up quieting my job (and that's another story).

I like to eat and experience different cuisines. I soooooo LOVE chocolates!!! especially dark mint flavors, yummy! I want/like to travel and experience other culture (I prefer learning thru experience versus reading a book) but, I do like reading a book (sometimes). I love those who are true to themselves.

I dislike people who pretend, so that others will accept them.

I know this is not a total about me page but, yeah.

That's all.
