My Battle with Depression

I was 12 years of age I think when I experience my mental illness. Imagine at a young age, I had the tendency to hurt myself. I cut myself to divert my emotional pain to physical. I always think that, it is better to feel physically hurt (cause it heals, eventually), instead of feeling hurt emotionally.

I have a half brother and he also suffers from his own mental illness. He will do drugs, drink, fought with my mom and all the stuff teenage boys do. He becomes the center of attention in the family, and sometimes I felt I was becoming a punching bag of the family. I always thought that I am adopted, they don't love me, no one wants me, no one cares for me, I had no friends, nobody to talk to. All negativity just runs thru my mind.

I fought it by becoming strong on my own, YES you can be also strong without anyone's help. YOU can only help yourself by doing the right decision which is continue on LIVING and prove to them that you deserve to be LOVE/D. It is nice to experience to LOVE and being LOVED. I got up on my own feet, so you can too. I do sometimes get depressed but I still continue to fight back. I don't want them to ruin what I have started to build. I will not let anyone break me again.

I am currently happy and having a family. So, I don't want my future son/daughter to experience what I went thru. If you have a family member that always on their own, go talk to them, open their doors or break their walls. If you are experiencing depression go fight it. Don't let them break your being. Have someone help you, care for you and love you. Continue on living, you deserve to be HAPPY in this life, someone in this world wants to live but they can't, so don't waste yours. Out in the million of your father's sperm you won all the way and got to see the world while the rest did not. For that, that shows that you are a deserving person to live.

We can chat up and talk about stuffs, if you need someone to talk to. Just hit me up. Will be opening my arms to welcome you.

LOVE YOURSELF.

Taiwan Journey [First Time]

Since the visa for Taiwan has been lifted for Philippines, we grab the opportunity to explore the country a little.

We went there last January 31 - February 5 of 2018. We traveled as a group composing of 11 persons. Our flight is 11pm of Jan30 and we arrive aroung 2am of Jan31. We head straight to our hotel which is GOSLEEP HOTEL - HANKOU near Ximending. We paid 1,200NTD for 2 cars. 5 persons on one and 6 persons for the other card.

We did begin our travel despite of arriving midnight on that day. And we do need to wake up early because we have an included breakfast and the time is 7AM-10AM only.

The weather is at the time of our tour is COLD. Playing around 10-6 degrees Celsius, lowest number that we encounter.

And also when we arrive we exchange our money at the airport. We used USD, I changed 500USD, some extra because some of our friends are last in line during the immigration and the line at the exchange counter is getting longer. It sums up to aroung 11k NTD with 30NTD charge.

I would suggest exchanging at the bank, and the rates go up and down from time to time, like I am talking minutes. 3 groups exchange their USD and we all have different rates.

We also bought an EASYCARD, note that the card is worth 100NTD without load, so you do have to top up.

Okey, here goes our itinerary. This just goes as what we can go to for the day.

Day1: Jan31

  • Taipei Zoo - we walk around the zoo and had our lunch at Mcdonald's which happen to have no rice meal at all. (sad, we all know we Pinoys do love rice)
  • From Taipei Zoo we head to ride the Gondola Ride to Maokong. At Maokong I went to the nearest shop that sells tea/s and stuff and also ice cream. I was good.
  • Went back to hotel
Day2: Feb1
  • Yehliu Geopark
  • Jinshan Old Street
  • Sytrend / Guang Hua to check for gadgets and stuffs
  • Back to hotel
Day3: Feb2
  • C.K.S Memorial Hall
  • Sun Yat Set Memorial Hall
  • National Taiwan University
  • Taipei 101 (Just the mall area, we didn't got the change to go up)
  • Back to Guang Hua / Sytrend because one of our friends plans to buy a laptop
  • Back to hotel
Day4: Feb3
  • Jiufen Old Street. I have a really sill story here, we walk whenever our feet takes us. There is this temple that we took pictures at, that we did not know restricted because there was no sign when we enter. One of our friends remain at the entrance and did not join us, then he went missing. We look all over for him, the remaining group set our meeting place at the Cat Store, we all went looking for him. Then the other group got a change to connect to a wifi, and our missing friend messages us that a MONK said to him that the area is restricted and guided him outside, the ENTRANCE what they called it. So, reminder make sure not to separated if you are a group or look around if the are you are entering is restricted or what not.
  • We decided not to continue our tour down to Shifen Old Street and PingXi Old Street because, the weather that day is very cold plus the heavy rain makes it more hard to walk around. (Note: On that day we learned that at the area did snow, maybe that's the reason that the weather there is really cold).
  • Went back to hotel and play some board games, which one of our friends brought.
Day5: Feb4
  • We woke up late because, we need to regain some strength because we will be waiting for our flight for the next day. Our flight is at 4AM. We had our breakfast around 9:30AM, pack our things and checkout at 12NOON.
  • We left our baggage at the hotel and walk around some more.
  • Martyr's Shrine
  • National Palace Museum (only at the outside)
  • Underground Mall
  • Back to hotel to get our bags
  • To the airport.
Day6: Feb5
  • Wait at the airport until 4am to checkin
  • Arrive at Manila at around 6AM
So that's our short journey for our Taiwan trip.

Happen to tour around Taiwan? Please let me know what are the things that I missed and tell me your experience.

Samyang: Carbo [Taste Test]

Samyang noodles are from Korea and it is all over the internet for a long run now. There are lots of flavors / variety / level of spiciness.

I tried the cheese, original, x2 and now this the carbo.

I am fun of spicy food but not that spicy, all of the flavors mentioned above except for the carbo, I cannot finish the serving.

The cheese is delicious if I lessen the spicy. I only put 1/4 of the sachet with the spicy one but, still find it spicy but tolerable.

I bought this carbo one at megamall trendsetter fair last Feb. 11, 2018.

The noodles are not that spicy unlike the other ones that soaks up the sauce, so maybe that is one of the reason I can finish this one. But then, I tried the sauce itself and whoooooo, it hurts my throat.

Are you also a spicy lover and what are the flavors of samyang you tried? Let me know your experience.

I can say it is safe to walk t night at Singapore and the people are also friendly.

I do also wanna recommend the Gokul Restaurant, it is SUPER THUMBS UP, YUMMY, DELICIOUS. That I don't even care if the sentence is correct (hehehe). I do crave for their butter chicken though.

Tell me your experience if you also been to Singapore. I would like to hear that, and also recommend things to do that is not on my list. Especially on what food that you may recommend.

10 Makeup Rules - Tried and Tested

I will share to you the 10 Makeup Rules that I got from the online class I am attending to.

So here goes....
1. Always choose a foundation shade to match your skin tone, and a second shade for nights out if you are a wearer of fake tan only. Your makeup doesn’t need to be darker on a night out

2. Always add contour, but keep it natural and well
blended

3. Never over load the skin with coloured powder, like a
brown compact powder

4. Keep lips scrubbed and hydrated or no lipstick will ever
look good

5. Avoid a harsh brow, or a hard-lined HD brow look and
never pencil them in without brushing through
afterwards

6. Too much makeup is too much, don’t overdo it

7. If your skin is dry, dull, or mature then opt for liquids
and creams to add luminosity to the skin

8. Keep brushes extremely clean

9. Never highlight aged areas, if crow’s feet escape down
onto the upper cheek bone be care full

10. Always apply primer

Do you also agree with this 10 rules? If you have anymore rules to add here, please do let me know.

IT'S MY SUN CREAM 45SPF (First Impression + Review)

Sunblock is one of the most important skin regimen every morning. For me, even if you are indoors you should never forget to wear something with SPF.

My impression/review: It is creamy, non-sticky and fine to put on my sensitive face. Unlike some sunblock that I used, whenever I perspire it sort of melts and sticky like and some shows a yellowish color whenever I wipe it out.

If you are looking for a good sunblock that is non-sticky, this one's a good grab. I also used this when I went for a swim and it does not come off that easily. Thumbs up for this.

Rate: 5/5

Do you also believe in using sunblock indoors even though you are not going out?
